Kirk Value Planners' Projects - Education

Education - The new College of Business is conceived as a dynamic container designed to support collaborative, interactive learning. The college is a compelling and bold architectural statement that gently slopes up from south the north, creating shaded roof terraces for the upper floors. It is cloaked with a porous outer skin, made up of carefully spaced and positioned earth-colored, vertical metal fins designed to filter natural daylight and to shade from the harsh sun. Internally it is organized around a vibrant, multi-level atrium called the “heart of the college”; it is designed to integrate all COB activities and is a place for discourse among students and faculty. Kirk Value Planners' Projects - Office

Office - The Administration Building is the symbolic beacon and tallest building of the site. At the ground floor are grand atriums that provide indoor public spaces to encourage interaction between staff, visitors, and students. It also houses a variety of the employees, including the top administrators. Central to the focus of the Tower is the double-height Senate Chamber on the tenth floor, the main meeting space for the president of the company. Image courtesy of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill

Kirk Value Planners' Projects - Transportation

Transportation – This project represents a state of the art terminal that supports 30 million international passengers per year. The design includes a balance between passenger amenities with sustainable goals to minimize the use of energy and water. The project also includes a direct link to the passenger terminal from the railway station to support the transportation of large passenger volumes to the new terminal.

Kirk Value Planners' Projects - Sustainable

Sustainable - The project consists of a new one story visitor center that leverages key sustainable strategies to minimizing the need for water, energy, and manmade lighting. The site is also oriented to maximize sustainable strategies and optimize views to the mountain range beyond. The exhibits used in the visitor center also leverage sustainable technology in the equipment, mechanical and electrical systems to minimize energy demands. Image courtesy of Bohlin Cywinski Jackson

Kirk Value Planners' Projects - Large Complex Projects

Large Complex Projects - This project represents a multi-use development consisting of 28 residential towers, 4 townhouses, retail areas, and hospitality areas. A manmade circular bay has been created to establish a family atmosphere to the residents. The master plan divides the island into 16 main districts each has its own character all within the Mediterranean style.

Kirk Value Planners' Projects - Historic

Historic – This effort represents a multi-team approach to establish key scope items in developing the final design strategy for the City Arch River 2015 project. This includes key decisions for the Museum of Westward Expansion / Gateway Arch Visitor Center at the Jefferson National Expansion Memorial; the North Gateway and Leonor K. Sullivan Boulevard & East Slopes; and finally the Luther Ely Smith Square/ Gateway Mall Connection, Processional Walks, and Historic Landscape.
